Design of the kebunku website platform based on design thinking as a digital innovation to support the halal ecosystem

This study aims to design an e-commerce website called KebunKu as a digital platform for agricultural product sales using the Design Thinking approach. The advancement of digital technology has driven significant innovation in the agricultural sector, particularly in the marketing and distribution of products, yet many agricultural entrepreneurs still face challenges in reaching a wider consumer base, especially for products emphasizing halal values and sustainability. The Design Thinking method is employed to deeply understand user needs through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, resulting in a user-centered system design. The novelty of this research lies in the digitalization of the halal agricultural value chain through the development of a Design Thinking–based e-commerce website that prioritizes product transparency and authenticity. The system not only functions as a digital marketing medium but also integrates Halal Assurance principles, providing consumers with open access to information regarding raw material sources, production processes, and halal certification. Overall, this study strengthens the digital halal ecosystem in the agricultural sector by connecting farmers, distributors, and consumers within a platform grounded in halal values and sustainability, offering a modern, transparent, and trustworthy digital framework for halal agriculture.References
